1) What is a co-operative?

A co-operative is a non profit organization run on a voluntary basis. At GCCP, this means that parents play an active role in the daily activities and running of the preschool. This can be as minor as providing a healthy snack on a monthly basis, making playdoh, joining us on a field trip, or serving as member on our advisory board.

2) My child has special needs. Can they attend GCCP?

All children are welcome at GCCP! We can help you arrange supports and services to assist with your child's integration and help create a plan for them to reach their individual goals.

3) Does my child need to be potty-trained?

All independence skills are important for preschool (and kindergarten!), but we are ready and able to help you and your child reach your set goals.

4) What if my child has allergies?

The classroom is a peanut-free environment. An allergy board is posted to keep everyone informed and all teachers maintain up to date training in first aid and CPR.

5) Why is fundraising necessary?

Together we strive to provide opportunities for children in our care and keep fees low to allow as many community members as posisble to access high quality early childhood education.
